Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the killing of 17-year-old, Shakir Ahmed Mir, and two other youth by Indian troops in Shopian.
According to KMS JRL in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the blood of the Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs.
It appealed the people to boycott the upcoming panchayat elections. It said that the Kashmiris were insecure in the hands of the puppet and cruel authorities. “Our culture, civilization, religion and dignity are at stake.
We must protect and safeguard these sacrifices at any cost,” it said .Meanwhile, delegations of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League visited the families of the martyred youth and expressed solidarity with them.
Hurriyat leader, Hilal Ahmed War, the Jamaat-e-Islami of occupied Kashmir and Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference in their statements in Srinagar also condemned the killing of the youth by the troops in Shopian.
