Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The prime minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that the Line of Control (LoC) would be turned into a graveyard for Indian troops in case they tried to cross the ceasefire line.

Khan made these assertions while talking to media persons at PM House in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday. Voicing his serious concern over the escalating tension on the line of control the AJK PM said that since the Indian forces have been blatantly violating ceasefire agreement the government of Pakistan should ask for an urgent meeting of United Nations Security Council to discuss the issue.” Use of heavy weapons by Indian forces on the line of control amounts to war crime and violation of international law”, he said adding that federal government should raise the issue of Indian unprovoked firing on unarmed and innocent people along the Line of Control (LoC) in United Nations Security Council.

Lambasting Indian Army chief for his reckless statement he said, “The LoC will be turned into a graveyard for Indian troops if they tried to cross the ceasefire line”. He said that the people of the liberated territory (AJK) will stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistani army to defend the country and will teach Indians such a lesson that its future generations will also remember it.

Referring to worsening HR situation in Indian occupied Kashmir he said that following the footsteps of Israel India was committing serious war crimes against Kashmiris. The AJK Premier termed the Indian terrorism in the Occupied Kashmir as attack on humanity and expressed distress over the silence of international community on the carnage in Occupied Kashmir by Indian brute forces. He said the movement of the people of Kashmir is indigenous and peaceful. India is denying Kashmiri youth and Kashmiri freedom leaders the political space by choking off all channels of communication”, he said. He said that the people of Kashmir and Pakistan are demanding dialogue and diplomacy while India was pushing militarism and state terrorism.

He said that Indo-Israel nexus was detrimental for the peace and stability of the region. Expressing his serious concern over the growing intolerance and extremism in India, he said that the fascist government in India was hell bent upon to destroy peace in the region. He said that India occupation forces were targeting Kashmiris on both sides of the line of control. He said that cross loc shelling on the line of control was aimed at creating a large scale displacement of Kashmiris besides depriving Pakistan army from the civilian support. He said that the people of AJK won’t allow this Indian nefarious design to succeed saying that Kashmiris on both sides of the divide will never accept Indian dominance in the region.
