Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan participated in the annual Urs of the famous spiritual saint Hazrat Sain Saheli Sarkar here on Saturday.
The Prime Minister laid wrath on the shrine of Hazrat Saheli Sarkar and inspected various parts of Mazar-e-Mubarak.
Sajada Nasheen (caretaker) Darbar Barri Imam Raja Sarfraz, Former Chairman PEMRA Absaar Alam, Member Legislative Assembly Dr. Mustafa Bashir and others also accompanied the Prime Minister, while thousands of visitors were also present on this occasion.
Talking to the media on the occasion, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that the land of Kashmir is the land of the Saints, “the role of pious is incredible for the promotion of human rights besides preaching of Islam.”
Prime Minister maintained that Hazrar Saheli Sarkar is one of the most well known saint of Kashmir.
He said that the people, who were in love with God, their role in preaching religion remained ideal and fundamental.
He added that our great saints accessed the hearts of masses through the sacred teachings and spreaded Islam worldwide, “even these great personalities’ role is starring in improving the economic condition of Muslims of the subcontinent.”Prime Minister stated that our religious saints taught the tolerance, patience and to behave without discrimination and these are the teachings of Islam.”One must endeavor according to teachings of Islam for the welfare and prosperity of humanity” ,PM AJK added.
Prime Minister exhorted that everyone ought to follow the teachings of Islam and pay respect and regard to the holy shrines of religious saints and we should diminish the discrimination among muslims.
