ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi chaired a briefing on graduation plan for the beneficiaries of Benazir Income Support Programme in Islamabad today.
On the occasion, he was briefed about the graduation strategy that is being formulated with an aim to permanently extract BISP beneficiaries from poverty trap by increasing their household income, enhancement of skills and human capital and promoting long term welfare.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the BISP team and observed that a comprehensive plan, taking into account all factors, should be put in place for ensuring sustainability and impact.
