London : National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team arrived in London on Tuesday for investigation in the Sharif family’s Flagship companies.
According to a NAB official, the team comprising three members under Director General (DG) Operation Zahir Shah will hold meetings with National Crime Agency.
It is expected that the team will also hold meetings with the officials of London Land Registry Department and an Audit Firm Home.
Three members team which included DG NAB Zahir Shah, Director Rizwan Ahmed and Investigation officer Muhammad Kamran are investigating this matter.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the light of Supreme Court 28 July, 2017 verdict, the country top anti-graft body had filed three references pertaining to Avenfield properties, Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship investments in an accountability court against the Sharif family.
Former PM Nawaz Sharif, his sons Hassan and Hussain Nawaz, his daughter Maryum Nawaz and his son in-law MNA Capt (retd) Safdar were held accused in the reference filed by the NAB.
On the other hand, in flagship investment reference pertaining to Al-Azizia Steel Mills and fifteen offshore companies, former PM Nawaz Sharif and his sons Hassan and Hussain Nawaz have been nominated.
