Islamabad : Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) former general secretary Jehangir Tareen nominated his son Ali Tareen as party candidate to contest by-election in NA-154 (Lodhran).
Jehangir Tareen made the announcement while addressing an election rally at Lodhran on Wednesday.
He said “he would always stand by PTI and serve the people of the area despite his disqualification.
He claimed that on the desire of party workers, Ali Tareen was nominated as a PTI candidate.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Supreme Court had disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Jahangir Tareen in its judgment on the disqualification case against him.
