Islamabad: Customs Islamabad has accelerated actions against the Intra-Kashmir trade.
Four such trucks laden with bananas destined for Peshawar have been confiscated on motorway and cases have been registered against the businessmen of smuggling.
On the other hand on Wednesday Sadiqabad police have arrested three Kashmiri businessmen and two drivers who are still in police custody and capture of trucks coming from occupied Kashmir. Intra Kashmir traders have been protesting. Intra Kashmir traders have stops their trucks in occupied Kashmir.
According to details on Thursday the customs Islamabad have also captured four trucks laden with bananas which were meant for Peshawar. They have stopped dozens of trucks as a mark of protest at various points inside occupied Kashmir.
They have been demanding from federal and Azad Kashmir government to solve the problem as soon as possible. Otherwise the Kashmiri businessmen will end the Intra Kashmir trade for good. They said the police action is aimed at to commit economic murder of Kashmiris which is unacceptable and business community will not remain quiet on this cruelty. The IntraKashmir trade is going on under the auspices of security agencies. Police and customs are liable to give answers for these violations.
