Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) District Health Authority Rawalpindi has chalked out comprehensive plan of public awareness activities regarding District Health Convention as announced by the Provincial Government to be celebrated in 36 districts of Punjab from December 2-11, 2017.
In this connection, CEO, District Health Authority Suhail Ahmed Chaudhry presided a meeting here on Thursday which was attended by DHO Dr. Abdul Jabbar, Deputy DHOs and focal persons.
Dr. Suhail Ahmed Chaudhry stressed that adequate arrangements should be made to organize different events relating to highlight health services in all urban and rural areas of the district. He said that special teams has been constituted to execute and monitor the performance of health officials. He further revealed that walks, seminars, talk shows, public meetings, festivals and community interactions would be organized in all tehsils headquarters, RHCs, and BHUs of Rawalpindi district. The plan of activities was minutely discussed in the meeting and participants presented their suggestions to organize the events in a befitting manner.
