ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Shafqat Mehmood has said his party welcomes ending the sit in.
In a statement issued here Monday he said wheel of life jammed all over the country owing to government negligence.
He went on to say the matter could have been resolved far before without loss of precious lives. Government could save the nation from difficulties by taking action against the persons found responsible.
He observed the resignation of law minister Zahid Hamid should have come far before but the situation worsened due to stubbornness of the government.
He remarked that interior minister Ahsan Iqbal gave ridiculous statement that he was ignorant of operation. Being the interior minister ignorant of the operation is tantamount of ringing alarm bell for the country, he added.
