Islamabad : Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi sought help from Pakistan People Party (PPP) in connection with approval of constitutional amendment bill of delimitation of constituencies in Senate.
Opposition leader in national assembly Syed Khursheed Shah while talking to media men outside the parliament house on Wednesday said that PM Abbasi held 12-minute long meeting with me at speaker chamber and sought help from PPP in connection with approval of delimitation of constituencies constitutional amendment bill in Senate.
PM was told that “he could not help in this regard but will convey his message to top leaderships of the party, opposition leader added.
Upon which, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi responded that “he is ready to meet or contact Asif Ali Zardari or Bilawal Bhutto by telephone.”
Syed Khursheed Shah stated that now party leadership will decide to support government constitutional amendment bill or hold meeting with PM Abbasi in this regard.
