Rawalpindi : Customs authorities at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport here on Monday morning recovered one and half kilogrammes of heroin from a Saudi-bound passenger.
The customs officials said that they stopped Umer Gull, as he was about to board a flight bound for Saudi Arabia.
The heroin is of very fine quality and its price is million of rupees in the international market and was concealed in small lunch box, customs authorities added.
Customs officials handed over the accused to Anti Narcotic Force (ANF) and later on ANF shifted the accused to unidentified place for further investigation.
It is pertinent to mention here that arrested person hails from Swabi.
