LAHORE: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday adjourned till November 30 hearing of case challenging ousted Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif PML-N presidency.

Election Commission (EC) bench presided over by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sardar Raza Hayat took up the case for hearing Wednesday.

Counsel for PTI Babar Awan did not appear. His assistant requested the court that due to his engagements in Supreme Court (SC) Babar Awan advocate could not appear, therefore, additional time be granted.

CEC remarked constitutional amendment has been made regarding the party presidency.

CEC remarked court can not suspend any law of the parliament but declares it null and void.

CEC Sardar Raza Hayat adjourned the hearing of the case till November 30 after hearing the arguments.
