LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday has said that Punjab government has always taken practical steps for the betterment of the people instead of doing negative politics.

Talking to the elected representatives from different districts in Lahore, Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government believes in serving the nation for which several programs have been launched to ensure standard health facilities to the masses.

CM continued that CT scan machines are being installed in all the hospitals for the assistance of poverty-stricken patients.

We have made history by completing energy-related projects rapidly, he added.

On the other hand, Shehbaz Sharif has attended an important meeting of PML-N leaders presided over by ousted Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra and discussed ongoing political and security situation in the country.

Senior leaders including PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal also devised a strategy to tackle the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case.
