Islamabad: Accountability Court (AC) has reserved the judgment upon petition filed by finance minister Ishaq Dar seeking exemption from court appearance in assets reference .
An accountability court of Islamabad took up the case for hearing on Wednesday.
During the course of hearing, Counsel Ayesha Hamid presented new medical report of finance minister and prayed court to appoint a representative.
She further stated that Dar had undergone angiography while more tests have yet to be conducted. Therefore, his plea for exemption from appearance be accepted.
On it National Accountability Bureau prosecutor Imran Shafique while opposing Dar counsel prayer said that Finance Minister is continuously using delaying tactics. He said Echo test takes only 4 minutes.
He said Dar appointed a new doctor as first doctor has not given him report of his own choice.
NAB prosecutor said that Dar has no such disease which stops him to come in the court.
According to medical report Ishaq Dar is in a state of severe anxiety.
