Larkana: Eight pilgrims including 5 members of a family were killed while 19 others were injured after a bus overturned near Waghan road, Larkana.
According to media reports, Deputy Commissioner Larkana Kashif Ali Tipu said that a bus carrying some 27 people of Brohi community was on its way to Larkana from Sehwan when it turned turtle in an attempt to save a motorcycle coming from its opposite direction near Malghani turning point.
As a result 8 people including three children of a family died while three others who riding on motorcycle including husband, wife along with their child suffered serious injuries that were rushed to nearby Chandka medical hospital for medico-legal formalities and first aid.
The deceased were identified as Amjad Ali, Haider Ali, Sana Ullah, Danish, Khalil Ahmad, Husna and Inayat Ullah while Jehanzay, Zarina, Nusrat, Noor Banu Rehman, Shehzadi, Nazir Ali, Noor Jahan, Benazir, Yasir Ali and Noor Bibi were among the injured.
Police said that all these were coming back to Larkana after offering rituals in Ghulam Shah Jilani.
