Islamabad : Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) formed a two member team to probe blasphemy content on social media and take action against accused, notification revealed.
In line with the notification issued by the DG FIA, above mentioned team has been set up under Director FIA Shakil Durani while Pervez Imran has been nominated as member of team.
Said team would be able to get services from any officials and personnel of FIA across the country to investigate and arrest the suspects involved in this obnoxious act, notification said.
The notification stated that the team has been constituted under clauses including terrorism act, case 7/17 of FIA under the clause of 295b, 295c, and 298a and 109 to investigate the blasphemy case on social media.
The team will start crack down soon against the people who create blogs of blasphemy, the notification added.
