Lahore: An intra court appeal has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) against publicizing Model town inquiry report.
Home secretary Punjab has filed an intra court petition in LHC while taking the plea that petitions regarding publicizing Model town commission report are pending hearing with full bench and a single member bench can not hear the case in the presence of full bench. Single bench has not given a chance for filing written reply.
Petitioner further stated that in constitutional petition, judgment has been given without hearing any written reply.
Secretary prayed that government has the authority to either make public or otherwise the judicial inquiry report; therefore court should set aside the decision of making public Model town inquiry report.
It is vital to mention here that two days earlier high court had make public Model town tragedy inquiry report.
