Lahore High Court has adjourned the proceeding till Sep. 26.
Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi of Lahore High Court while granting leave to Home Secretary Punjab for filing reply has adjourned the hearing.
Counsel for Hafiz Saeed A. K. Dogar has submitted written argument in the court.
The petitioner’s advocate gave his stance that despite petition against the house arrest is sub judice in the High Court, the Punjab government has extended the period of house arrest for 90 days. He said that government sans any substantiated proof has put them under house arrest merely on the basis of allegations.
He prayed that the High Court should declare their house arrest as illegal and null and void.
