Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has welcomed the Amnesty International report calling for immediate ban on shotguns in Kashmir.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir welcomed the Amnesty’s report released yesterday in Srinagar.
“Kashmir welcomes Amnesty report calling for immediate ban on pellet guns, trial of forces personnel in civilian courts and rehabilitation and compensation for victims,†the Mirwaiz added.
