Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Thursday assured the affectees of Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC) of resolving all their problems on priority basis.

Responding to members of Assembly on their points of order during the AJ&K Legislative Assembly session, the Prime Minister said that government was fully aware of problems the affectees were facing during the Indian aggression and government would not leave them alone.
“Civilians who are facing the Indian firing and shelling would not bend down before the Indian shelling and would continue to stand by the brave Army of Pakistan for the Defence of the country, Indian army which was facing swear disappointment in the hands of Kashmiri youth in occupied Kashmir simply wanted to divert the world attention from its atrocities on innocent people”, he added.

“I will hold a consultative meeting of the representatives of people from 13 electoral constituencies located on the LoC to discuss the present situation of the affectees to seek the way out to resolve their problems today”, he said.
He directed the administration to make sure the implementation on the law of serving one dish in “Valima” in marriage halls. He said society itself should respect the laws so a culture of decency could prevail in the society.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister has announced the grant of Rs 100 millions for the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a high level meeting regarding the various issues of the university the Prime Minister directed to resolve the issues of completion of Chattar Class Campus and acquiring the land for Neelum Jehlum campus immediately.
The Prime Minister directed the secretary Higher Education to finalise the estimated cost of the land so its payment could be made in time.
AJK Minister for Education Barrister Iftikhar Gillani,Voice Chancellor Kalim Abbasi, Secretary Higher Education Shahid Mujahideen, Secretary Electricity, Deputy Commissioner and other high ranking officials attended the meeting.
