Lahore: The senior most judge of Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Shahid Hameed Dar took oath as acting chief justice Lahore High Court on Monday.
According to media reports, Justice Muhammad Yawar Ali administered oath to Justice Shahid.
Oath taking ceremony was held in the judge’s lounge of LHC. Justice Muhammad Anwar ul Haq, Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan, Justice Mamoon Rashid, Justice Muhammad Farrukh, Irfan Khan, other learned judges, senior lawyers along with officials of LHC, Provincial and federal law officers and others attended the ceremony.
It is vital to mention here that Chief Justice LHC Syed Mansoor Ali Shah along with 6 judges of high court has proceeded to Hungary for attending three –day judicial summit in Budapest that will start on August 30 and continue till September 1st.
