Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops killed three youth during their siege and search operation in Pulwama district.
Inspector General of Police, Munir Khan, told media men in Srinagar that three burnt bodies of youth were retrieved from the Police Lines area in Pulwama district.
Earlier, four Indian soldiers and as many policemen were killed and several others were injured in an attack in the same area yesterday. Unknown attackers had stormed the District Police Lines, Pulwama, where hundreds of Indian policemen and troops are stationed.
The police official said that searches were going on and feared that more bodies could be retrieved.
