Muzaffarabad: The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, under the National Action Plan, has formally approved the establishment of Task Force in all 3 divisions of the State to monitor illegal and unlawful use of social media. The Divisional commissioners of Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot and Mirpur will head task force team in their divisions.

As per the notification of Interior Ministry, divisional commissioner would be chairman of the Task Force whereas top officials of the district administration including Deputy Commissioner, SSP, District Information Officer, and one representative each from Special Branch, Intelligence Bureau, ISI and Military Intelligence would be inducted in the team as its members.

The Task Force, by the nature of its mandate, shall convene a meeting of its members on the 10th day of every month and will subsequently send its report to the interior ministry. Federal Ministry for Interior will forward those reports to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for necessary actions.
