ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) is adopting new research technologies for development in Crops and Livestock.
Dr. Yusuf Zafar (T.I) Chairman, PARC said this while addressing to participants of “Competitive Grant Selection Committee” meeting held PARC headquarters Islamabad on Wednesday. This Meeting has been arranged under Agricultural Innovation Program (AIP) for Pakistan under PARC-CIMMYT- USAID.

Dr. Yusuf Zafar (T.I) Chairman, PARC further said that under AIP, Agricultural funds are provided to PARC for development Agri. Sector. Livestock sector has an important value as well as Crops in Pakistan. At Beaf Production Research Centre, Sibbi, comparing of daily weight Gain Ability of cross breading of Balochistan Nari Master, Bagh Nari and Red Sindhi Male young Stock on Feeding of Same Ration at Beef Production Research Centre.. He further added that detection of Mycotoxin in Poultry feeds of Balochistan and its bio control has also been developed by using probiotic bacteria.
Other participants of the meeting also expressed their views Microbiological upgradation of industrial waste and their role in poultry fed fortification and effect of different antibiotics and steroidal Residus in Meat of Chicken and their effect on Humans in Punjab.
