LAHORE: Strike of Young Doctors Association (YDA) across the Punjab has continued on seventh day today (Monday) as the doctors have boycotted in and out doors of various hospitals.
According to details, senior doctors have been called to perform their duties in place of the protesting doctors in Lahore’s Jinnah and Services hospitals whereas patients are facing immense difficulties in Multan hospitals.
Young doctors said that the strike will be continued until the administration fulfills their demands while the management has directed to take stern action against them.
On the other hand, Punjab Health Department has suspended more than 60 doctors and has also started new hiring process.
