Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Pakistan Muslim League-N (Kashmir Chapter) while reposing its full confidence over the leadership of AJK prime minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has taken strong exception of propaganda campaign targeting the PM.

The meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of the PML-N president and prime minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan, was participated by the parliamentary leaders as well as the central leaders of the party here on Friday. Denouncing in strong terms what they called as baseless propaganda against the PM, the meeting resolved that Pakistan was a strong part of Kashmiris’ political faith. “The propaganda campaign against the AJK premier is a conspiracy against the deep-rooted socio-political, religious and ideological relationship between Pakistan and Azad Kashmir”, they said adding that after the Holy cities of Makkah and Madina people of Kashmir hold Pakistan as the most sacred land. “Annexation to Pakistan is not just a political faith of the people of Kashmir but a part of their belief”, they said.

The meeting passed various resolutions expressing confidence in Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s leadership and vowed to continue its all out support for the party’s supreme leader. “The party would continue to stand by its leader, (Nawaz Sharif) in a challenging time and he would certainly be successful at the end,” the meeting maintained.

The PML-N meeting while expressing its reservations over the Supreme Court’s verdict regarding the disqualification of Mian Nawaz Sharif paid eulogizing tributes to former Prime Minister of Pakistan for his unprecedented services to the nation. Expressing complete solidarity with Sharif the meeting reposed its full confidence over his leadership and appreciated the services of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for development and prosperity of the country. The meeting thanked the newly elected Prime Minister Shahid Khawan Abbasi for visiting the Kashmir House few days back.

The meeting resolved that the plebiscite was the only way to seek a just and honourable settlement of Kashmir dispute. The meeting condemned the Indian atrocities committed by occupation forces in Held Kashmir and assured the people of the IHK of full moral and diplomatic support during their struggle against Indian occupation.

Meanwhile, a committee led by minister for Information Raja Mushtaq Minhas was formed for finalization the arrangements for participating of PMLN AJK in procession of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif from Islamabad to Lahore on August 6. Member Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wassi and Zulfiqar Ali Malik would be other coordinators with Mushtaq Minhas in the Committee.

Speaking on the occasion AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider Khan said, “Muslim League is Pakistan’s pioneer political party, we stand by Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, our love for Pakistan is part of our faith and don’t need certificate of loyalty from any one”. Kashmiris he said have been fighting the war of completion of Pakistan over the past 70 years.

Senior Minister Ch Tariq Farooq, ministers Ch Muhammad Aziz, Sardar Farooq Sikandar, Dr.Najeeb Naqi, Mushtaq Minhas, Ch Muhammad Saeed, Noreen Arif, Syed Shaukat Shah, Nasir Dar, Barrister Iftikhar Gillani, deputy speaker Sardar Farooq Ahmed Tahir, member AJK Legislative Assembly KB Khan, Syed Ali Raza Bukhari,Col (R) Waqqar Noor, Raja Naseer Ahmed, Ch Iahaq, Ch Ismail, Mian Yasir Rasheed, Asad Alim Shah, Ch Shahzad, Dr Bashir Mustafa, Ch Zjaved Akhtar, Sehrish Qamar, Faiza Imtiaz, member AJK Kashmir Council Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wassi, Malik Pervez,Sadique Batli and all ten district presidents of PML-N attended the meeting.
