Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Ahmed Khan while condemning the continued house detention and arbitrary arrests of Hurriyat leaders has said that notorious investigation agency (NIA) working on the whims and fancies of New Delhi has been assigned the task to harass and pressurize the movement leadership and their families by involving them in fabricated cases.

The AJK president said this while talking to a 5-member delegation, which was led by Mushtaq-ul-Islam the chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights [IFJH] here on Tuesday. Terming massive crackdown against Hurriyat leaders as a party of greater conspiracy, President Masood Khan said that Kashmiri nation should remain watchful about the India’s nefarious designs, which he said were aimed at debasing and demonizing of the movement leadership besides sowing the seeds of discard among the masses.
He said that India occupation authorities in the region on one hand were harassing business community while on the other the tech-savvy Kashmiri youth who express their resentment and anger against India on social media networking sites were being targeted and hunted down by the secret agencies.

The Chairman IFJH on the occasion presented the president a video message of APHC Chairman Syed Ali Gilani wherein the senior Hurriyat leader while condemning the Indian authorities for arresting pro-freedom leaders on baseless allegations had appealed the Kashmiris on both sides of line of control to foil India’s nefarious designs.

The AJK president said that Syed Ali Gilani in a timely message had cautioned the Kashmiri nation about the conspiracies being orchestrated by Indian secret agencies against the movement leadership and the ongoing freedom struggle. President Masood Khan urged the international community to take effective cognizance of the worsening human rights situation in the region and play its much needed role to stop genocide of innocent Kashmiris.
