ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Babar Awan advocate has said Supreme Court (SC) can announce verdict in Panama case today.
“There is no legal reason for delaying decision in Panama case. Apex court can announce its decision todayâ€, he said this while talking to media men here Thursday.
He stated “ we have heard that judges of SC are outside Islamabad and due to this reason Panama case decision will be delayed. But it is not necessary that Panama case decision is delayed for the reason that some judges are outside Islamabad.
He went on to say that it is wroth mentioning here that SC bench which has reserved judgment in Panama case is not Panama bench but it is Panama implementation bench. The decision can be announced in the presence of two or three judges and its precedent is available in the past.
