Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Minister for Information and Tourism, Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Mushtaq Minhas called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif today in Islamabad.

During the meeting Minister for Information & Tourism briefed the Prime Minister regarding various development projects undertaken by AJ&K government.

The Prime Minister stated that the federal government was focusing on infrastructure and tourism development of AJ&K, which was manifested by two-fold increase of federal funding for these sectors. “Our government aims at making AJ&K the hub of tourism”, stated the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister further stated that PML-N will deliver on promises made with the people of AJ&K regarding improvements in education, health and social sectors. “I will visit AJ&K soon to meet with PML-N workers”, the Prime Minister said.

With regards to human rights violations in the Jammu & Kashmir, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan has always strongly condemned the use of force on innocent people of Jammu & Kashmir. Pakistan will keep on extending diplomatic and moral support towards the rightful demand of self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
