MIRPUR (AJK): (Parliament Times) Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan, the senior most judge of the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, will perform as the acting Chief Justice of the apex court in absence of the Chief Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Ibrahim Zia, who is leaving for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, it was officially declared.
The acting Chief Justice designate of AJK Raja Saeed Akram Khan will take the oath of his office as acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu & Kashmir at a ceremony to be held at Kashmir House in Islamabad on June 11, 2017 (Sunday).
President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan will administer oath to Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan as the acting Chief Justice of AJK.
This was stated in an official statement issued to the media by the Registrar of the Supreme Court of AJK here on Friday.
