Islamabad: Terming Indian claims of Daesh presence in Kashmir as a part of greater conspiracy the president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Ahmed Khan has said that the nefarious design behind Indian propaganda was to malign Kashmiris indigenous struggle being spearheaded by Kashmir youth.
AJK President Sardar Masood Khan made these assertions during a media interview here on Tuesday. Khan was of the view that by imposing curbs on social and multi media in occupied Kashmir India wanted to conceal the war crimes being committed by its forces in the restive region. “The restrictions on the media were imposed because India does not want any kind of video clip or pictures of gruesome killings of innocent Kashmiris could go viral on the internetâ€. He said that despite all these restrictions the youth of held Kashmir have successfully made the world know what happened in Kashmir. Khan observed that Indian occupation forces deployed in length and breadth of Kashmir were carrying out genocide of innocent Kashmiris.He also thanked the world human rights organizations including Human rights Watch, Amnesty International and Physician for Human Rights for criticizing Indian authority’s blackout on Internet and social media. He said that despite serious restrictions imposed by Indian authorities the media had given in-depth coverage and by presenting detailed reports media has tried its level best to expose the ugly face of India before the world.
Khan said that despite all this the international community and influential countries across the globe have assumed the role of a silent spectator. “The international community’s indifference towards the issue has unfortunately emboldened and encourged the occupation forces who are grossly involved in human rights violations in Kashmirâ€, he said adding that the permanent members of UNSC should take stock of deteriorating situation besides influencing upon India to stop HR violations in the UN recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Khan expressed the hope that the sacrifices rendered by Kashmiri people shall bear fruits very soon and will succeed in their mission. Regarding Indians call for a permanent settlement of Kashmir issue, the AJK president said that it was nothing but a deceit and deception. “The permanent solution of Kashmir they talk about is to change the demography of the state of held Kashmir thereby settling outsiders and carrying out genocide of those Kashmiris who refuse to accept Indian slaveryâ€.
