ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has congratulated the Pakistan cricket team on winning the test series against West Indies adding that they have created history through this marvelous achievement.
Commending the services of retiring Captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Younas Khan, the President said that through their illustrious careers they have written a golden chapter in the history of Pakistani Cricket.
He said that Pakistan cricket team has achieved unprecedented glory during their tenure which has made the nation proud.
He also said that the services of both legendary cricketers will be remembered forever.
The President hoped that the new leadership of our cricket team will win laurels for the country by benefitting from the experiences of the senior players.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has congratulated the nation as well as Pakistani cricket team on historic test series’ win against West Indies.
In a message, he appreciated the team players and management for their efforts which resulted into a remarkable win for the country.
The Prime Minister also praised legendary cricket players Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan for their contributions and invaluable services for the national cricket team.
He said youth in general and young cricketers in particular must learn from the great experiences, sportsmanship and consistent hard work of the two great players of the game.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb have also congratulated cricket team for winning test series against West Indies.
In their separate felicitation messages, they said the entire team deserve congratulation over the historic victory in West Indies.
