In this connection, a team comprising legal experts has also been formed.Speaking on the occasion, PM Nawaz said that he has always presented himself before the courts and people, adding that lies and defamation have always failed against him.Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Nawaz Sharif, said that she “fears for the fate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman in the hereafterâ€.In her tweet, she noted that the PTI chief at times says he was offered the bribe by an aide of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, but also says it was Hamza Shahbaz’s friend who offered the huge sum to his affiliate in Dubai.Prime Minister Sharif held separate meetings with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai. The premier directed the interior minister to implement the recommendations of the Dawn leaks committee and make it public.Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan had claimed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government had offered him Rs10 billion to back down from the Panamagate case.He said when PML-N government can offer me such a huge amount then one can only imagine what they will offer investigation organisations probing the Panamagate case.He said the apex court’s decision has raised awareness among the people who supported Nawaz in the past as they now understand his reality.Nawaz Sharif had presented fake evidence in the Supreme Court, he said and added that Nawaz has made Qatri prince responsible for the wealth provided and used by Sharifs’ family abroad.He said Nawaz has no further evidence to prove he is innocent and now PTI can build pressure on the investigation authorities to stop supporting the prime minister and his family.He said that everyone knows that Nawaz is stuck and should resign from office. Such claims are tantamount to question and undermine the very integrity institutions like judiciary. The PTI chief Imran Khan is important national leader and he is a role model for many people. He should avoid indulging in stirring up a controversy for his vested political interests. Such claims are not only detrimental for his politics but these will not also helpful for the country. These controversies may harm national interests because it fuel instability in the country. The political leaders should act more sensibly because they were followed by their followers and their statements are considered seriously.
