ISLAMABAD: Federal Government has transferred chief secretary AJK Sikander Sultan Raja and posted him as secretary petroleum.
Establishment Division issued the notification in this regard. He served as Chief Secretary AJK for one year and three months. The general elections in AJK were held during his tenure as chief Secretary, which are considered to be the most free, fair and transparent elections in the history of AJK.
Prior to this he served as Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan and earned good reputation for reducing the corruption. He has also served as DG Immigration & passport and is known for introducing a number of reforms in that department which benefited the public a lot.
His other important assignments have been secretary communication &works, secretary services and Administration, and secretary local government Punjab. He also served as DG Excise &Taxation Punjab. In Islamabad his important posting was the Deputy Commissioner.
Mr. jalal Sikander Sultan Raja is known as an officer having extraordinary abilities, hard work, professionalism and honesty which makes him the choice for the new task.
