Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Sardar Muhammad Masood khan, President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has asked Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation to expand its services up to Azad Jammu and Kashmir and take steps for provision of modern facilities of internet to the people of the state. He expressed these views while talking to Chief Executive Officer of PTCL, Mr. Danial Ritz and CBDO Sikandar Naqi who called on him at President Secretariat Kashmir House here on the other day. The PTCL CEO told president that his organization has planned to lto expand its services up to AJK and to lay cables but there are certain problems and we trying to sort them out. He said that PTCL with the cooperation of state government wants to serve the people of Azad Kashmir. President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan highly appreciated the decision of PTCL and assured that state government will fully support the PTCL in its effort to provide state of the art internet and telecom facilities to the people of Azad Kashmir. Meanwhile President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan expressed his profound condolence with senior journalist and Secretary General of Kashmir Journalists Forum, Zahid Akbar Abbasi on sad demise of his mother. He expressed his sympathies with bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
