Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said ever-growing strategic relations between Pakistan and China are the bedrock of regional peace and stability.
She said this during a meeting with Director Information Office of the State Council of China Jiang Jianguo, who called on her along with a high level delegation in Islamabad on Thursday.
State Minister said Pakistan and China had exemplary friendship which had withstood the vicissitudes of time.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would bring prosperity to the peoples of China, Pakistan, South Asia, Central Asia and Middle East.
Marriyum Aurangzeb acknowledged Chinese assistance in infrastructure and economic development as well as the continuous support for Pakistan in the fight against global terrorism.
Director Information Office of the State Council of China on the occasion acknowledged Pakistan’s rapid strides towards higher level of economic growth and great improvement in the security situation.
