ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) The residents of the federal capital enjoyed a pleasant weather on Tuesday after early morning rain left the air fresh.

Due intermittent rain in different parts of Rawalpindi as well, Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Rawalpindi has imposed an emergency, while heavy machinery for drainage has been sent to areas situated on a low ground level.

According to the spokesperson of WASA, the recent rain has increased the level of water to two to three feet in the drains.
While talking to the media , Pakistan Meteorological Department Director General Dr Ghulam Rasool said the rainfall system is likely to stay till Thursday.

The trees in Sector-11, Islamabad have fallen due to strong winds.

The dark clouds have given respite to locals from a hot spell that had covered the city since a week.
