ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the government is committed to deal with the blasphemous content on social media with iron hands.
Talking to a delegation of Ulema in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said the government will never allow anyone to misuse the social media and steps are being taken to stop such activities in the country.
The Minister said that Pakistan has raised the blasphemous content issue with the Muslim countries and we have the desire to adopt a joint strategy against this nefarious design.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that sacrilege of religious figures will not be allowed in the name of freedom of expression in the country.
