Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Three students were killed while four others were injured as a result of motorcycles collision within the jurisdiction of Bara Kahu police.
According to media reports, some seven students, aged between 17 to 20 years, three hailed from Bara Kahu and four from Kari road Rawalpindi were on their way while riding on motorcycles, to enjoy a picnic party at Shahdara picnic point when their motorcycles, coming from opposite direction collided with each other.
As a result, three including Saad Aaftab, Qamar Khalid and Saad Abbas died on the spot while Saeed Aaftab, Naqash ul Hasan, Hamza Ali and Mohsin Ishfaq sustained serious injuries that were rushed to nearby polyclinic hospital for treatment.
According to hospital sources, out of four injured, two were stated to be in critical condition.’
According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place due to over speeding and over loading.
