KARACHI: The former information minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Memon, pointed fingers at Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, asking why the latter did not include the Sharif family’s name in the exit control list over the Panama case.

While talking to the media at his residence in Karachi on Sunday, Memon said Chaudhry Nisar showed efficiency over least important issues. For instance, Memon added, the interior minister should have also included Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s name in the ECL over the money laundering issue.

Memon maintained he trusts the law and has thus voluntarily surrendered before the courts.

The former information minister said he was and still is a member of Pakistan Peoples Party.

Further criticising the Pakistan Muslim-League-Nawaz’s government, Memon said their gathering in Hyderabad on Monday (tomorrow) will comprise mainly of patwaris (government employees), while that of PPP is for the public.
