Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) The Punjab government has decided to outsource 5500 middle schools located in Rawalpindi Division. The decision was taken after the move of privatization of primary and higher schools decision came to be fruitful. The outsourcing process of 5500 middle schools would be commencing from during summer holidays from 1st June and will continue till 31st August 2017. A list is also being developed by the education department., Meanwhile a list of teachers is also being developed to whom surplus would be declared from both the girls and boys middle schools. During the first phase of process, the schools would be handed over Punjab Education Foundation, while in next phase the schools privatized and sold to various persons.
