Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan on Sunday said India has emerged as anti Muslim and Hindu extremist country by locking down Mosques and other places of worship in occupied Kashmir. Talking to a delegation of Kashmiri refugees and party workers at Kashmir House Islamabad, he said that India under the leadership of Narendra Modi is no more a secular country rather it has became a country of Hindu fundamentalist. He said that India repression cannot deter the people of Kashmir as the youth of Kashmir engaged in freedom movement are determined to take their struggle to its logical conclusion. He said that international community and civilized societies of the world should take serious notice of the Indian atrocities and gross violation of Kashmiri peoples’ fundamental rights . The Prime Minister said that people of Kashmir has proved that they can be enslaved but their hearts and minds cannot be bought by rejecting Indian government’s economic package. Terming Kashmir liberation struggle as one of the biggest struggles of the present time, the prime minister said that Kashmir movement is gaining momentum with every passing day. Describing shelling on civil population of Azad Kashmir by Indian forces at Line of Control as forestation of India, Prime Minister Farooq Haider said that violation of ceasefire by India is clear violation of international laws.
Raja Farooq Haider said that since July 2016 over 200 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred in Cold-blooded barbarism over 15,000 are injured and around 1000 suffer from eye injuries due to merciless use of pellet guns, which rendered many hundreds completely blind and scores partially, including children and women. The Kashmir issue, he stressed, must be resolved in an amicable manner and Kashmiris must be given their due right to decide about their future.
