Peshawar Zalmi captain Darren Sammy, who led his team to victory in the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017, on Tuesday posted a video to Twitter, showing that he fulfilled his promise of shaving his head.
The West Indies player said, “As promised, I have shaved my head after winning the PSL final. Now it’s time for the rest of my Peshawar Zalmi teammates including Javed Afridi to follow.â€
Darren Sammy, ahead of PSL final, had promised that if his team Peshawar Zalmi wins the final, “everybody (teammates including owner Javed Afridi) will shave their heads”.
Peshawar Zalmi lifted the title of PSL 2017 on Sunday after defeating Quetta Gladiators at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
