Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders including Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi and Ghulam Nabi War have said that history stands testimony to the fact that India has never been serious in finding a lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

The leaders in a meeting in Srinagar said that dialogue was the only way to address disputes in the world but India brought disrepute to the institution of dialogue by its non-seriousness and using it for its own benefits and advantages.

They expressed concern over the supply of more pellet guns to the Indian forces to suppress anti-India demonstrations in occupied Kashmir. They said that India could not deter the Kashmiri people from continuing their struggle and they would take it to its logical conclusion at all costs.

The meeting was also attended by Qutab-i-Alam, Shakeel-ur-Rehman, Jamshed Ahmad, Manzoor Ahmad, Master Muhammad Maqbool, Tahoor Sidiqi and others.
