MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Tuesday adopted five draft laws and referred five others draft bills to standing committees of the house. The House which met with Deputy Speaker Sardar Farooq Ahmed Tahir in the chair passed “The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Act 2017, The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Forest Regulation (Amendment) Act 2016, The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Text Book Board (Amendment) Act 2016, The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Industrial Relations Act 2016, The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prohibitation of Child Labour and Regulation Act 2017 and The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Payment of Wages Act 2017.†The House referred “The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Amendment) Ordinance 2016, The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Salary, Allowances and Privileges Act (Amendment) 2017, The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Minister’s Salaries, Allowances and Privileges Act 2017 and The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Salaries, Allowances and Privileges and Pension of Members (Amendment) Act 2017 to Standing Committee of the House. The Standing Committee headed by Law Ministers and Chaudhary Muhammad Ishaq, Col (R) Waqar Ahmed Noor, Riffat Aziz and Malik Muhammad Nawaz as its members will review the draft laws and submit their report in the House. The House also unanimously adopted a resolution tabled by member of Assembly Sehrish Qammar welcoming the regularization of the services of employees of National Program for Population Welfare.
