Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that to take freedom movement to its logical end needs wisdom and comprehensive strategy. Modi is using brutal force to make Kashmiris silent but India will have to vacate the state of Jammu and Kashmiri at last.
Addressing the AJK intra universities debate completion on “Kashmiris right to self determination” here at National Arts Council on Monday the prime minister Raja Farooq Haider called upon the international community to play its role in the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in line with the UN Security Council resolutions. He told the young students on the continuous aggravating human rights situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by occupation forces.
He stressed the Kashmir issue is one of the oldest items on the agenda of the UN Security Council. Indian brutalities in Held Kashmir had increased significantly after the extra-judicial killing of Burhan Wani. He said gross violation of human rights of the people of Occupied Kashmir perpetrated by Indian occupation forces had resulted in thousands of civilian deaths and injuries to more than 20,0000.
He pointed out that the inhumane use of pellet guns had caused serious injuries to thousands of innocent people, including young girls and children, and blinded hundreds completely or partially. He said India deprived more than 1.5 billion people of this region of peace and prosperity by refusing to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolutions and its own promises.
He said the government of Pakistan Muslim League (N) led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is highlighting the Kashmir issue at all international forums.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan urged the international community to take up with India its gross human rights violations perpetrated in Occupied Kashmir at all levels to ensure misery and suffering of the innocent people were alleviated.
Later prime minister Raja Farooq Haider distributed the winning awards among the best competitors. Irum Abbas of AJK university Muzaffarabad got 1st, Eman Hanif of Women university Bagh received 2nd and Faisal Kabir of Kotli university won the 3rd prize.
