ISLAMABAD: The hearing of the Panama Case on Thursday concluded for the week to resume again on Tuesday when the five-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will question the Chairmen of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

This will be the first time that heads of investigating agencies will be appearing before the apex court with complete records of details and progress.

Hearing adjourned till Tuesday

The hearing for the case was adjourned till Tuesday 21st February. Justice Asif Saeed Khosa said that the hearing will be held thrice-a-week as the health of one of the members of the bench does not permit a daily hearing.

Jusitce Azmat Saeed, one of the judges of the bench, is recovering from an angioplasty.

More evidence submitted for London Flats

Counsel for Hussain and Hassan Nawaz, Salman Akram Raja continued his arguments. He submitted service records for Minerva firm in the apex court.

Giving details, he added, that a representative for Hussain Nawaz, Faisal Tiwana made an agreement with Arrina company. The counsel submitted transactions conducted by the Minerva Company which included receipts of the Barclays bank.

He said that Maryam Nawaz had remained trustee shareholder after she kept bearer certificates with her from the year February till July 2006. Registered shares were issued for the firm in July 2016. After the bearer certificates were suspended, Maryam Nawaz’s trustee status became invalid, he said.

Justice Azmat Saeed asked who was the director for Neilson and Nescoll.
