Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Sixteen work charge employees of Municipal Corporation Muzaffarabad have been removed from their services from beginning of this month by the Administrator of Municipal Corporation. According to sources these employees were performing their duties in the department for last ten years and were removed from service due to non availability of funds. Source added that earlier government was of the view that it had allocated Rs 5 Million for the salaries of contracted employees but those who were inducted as work charge on political basis cannot be paid as government is facing shortage of funds to keep them employed on work charge basis. While on the other hand sacked employees claimed that around dozens of work charge employees are still performing their duties and received salaries, which is discriminatory attitude towards the employees.
