MUZAFFARABAD : The spokesperson of All Kashmir Newspapers Society (AKNS) has said that Kashmir Council has ignored the state’s newspapers in the advertisement campaign regarding the Kashmir Solidity Day. TheAll Kashmir Newspapers Society (AKNS) spokesperson in a statement said that on February 5 Kashmir solidarity day was observed at national and international level but the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir Council did not spend allocated budget for media campaign properly. “The allocated budget is spent in
other activities and it issues advertisement to few newspapers only and ignores AJK’s local newspapersâ€, he lamented. He said that it was injustice with the state,s newspaper on the occasion of the Kashmir solidarity day as they were ignored and not given their share in media campaign. He said that the ministry of Kashmir Affairs did not follow the list provided by AJK PID regarding the advertisements. He said that if ministry of Kashmir Affairs did not change this policy it will face strong protest.
