London: AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has arrived in United Kingdom to participate in the Education World Forum began at London on Monday. The event is being attended by ministers and their senior advisers representing over 80 per cent of the world’s population to debate future education policy.

The event is supported by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), the Department for Education (DfE), the Department for International Trade (DIT), the Department for International Development (DfID), the British Council and the EWF industry partners.

This years’ forum offers three days of insight and inspiration from leading education pioneers, policy makers and education experts, with many of the sessions given by education ministers themselves as part of an honest assessment of countries’ common issues and challenges.

The Three- day International Education Forum will be concluded on January 27 during which Prime Minister Farooq Haider is expected to meet the officials of British government. From Pakistan Minister of State for Education Baligh-ur-Rehman, education ministers from all four princes of Pakistan and AJK and prominent educationists are participating in the event.

Earlier on his arrival at Heathrow Airport, AJK Prime Minister was warmly received by workers and leaders of PML-N.

Talking to party workers on the occasion, he urged them to play their role for attracting international community’s attention towards deteriorating rating situation in occupied Kashmir.

He said that when the UN Security Council passed its Kashmir resolution on April 21, 1948, it was supported by the US, the UK and France. He said the resolution stated that the future of Kashmir must be ascertained in accordance with the wishes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He appealed to the world powers to use their influence on India to start a peace process with Pakistan and associate the UN as well as the people of Jammu and Kashmir with it to settle the lingering Kashmir dispute.

Minisre for Education Barrister Iftikhar,Minister for Health Dr.Najeeb Naqi,member AJK Legislative Assembly Ch Javed Iqbal were present on the occasion.

Earlier president Paksitan Muslim League(PML) (N) UK Zubair Iqbal Kiani,Raja Imtiaz Ahmed Khan,Yousaf Bandore,Raja Munshi ex MLA,Raja Asif, Muhammad Shafiq,Shahid Rathore,Raja Qurban,Ishtiaq Awan,Raja Murrawat,Ch Saeed, Raja Taj,Iftithar Hussain,Naveed Khan,Muhammad Ali,Amjad Hussain , Basher Hussain,Farooq Ahmed,Tariq Jameel,Maqsood Khan,Muhammad Tuseef,Naveed Goga,RajaInaam,Ch Saleem and other hundred of Muslim League (N) workers welcomed the AJK Prime Minister at the airport.
